Da Lat has no international school. No IB, no Cambridge, no accredited English-medium school of any kind. We would rather tell you now than after you have shipped your furniture.

At preschool level international networks and methods do exist here — the Canadian Maple Bear programme, Montessori settings, bilingual kindergartens with native speakers. What the city lacks is an accredited international school for older classes: the nearest are in Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang.

A private bilingual school covering primary and lower-secondary years: the Vietnamese national curriculum runs alongside the American Common Core standard. English, STEAM projects and creative subjects get their own slots. Classes mix Vietnamese and foreign children rather than separating them.

A language centre and a bilingual school in one place: English courses plus preschool and primary years. Teaching is built around an English-speaking environment with native speakers involved. Useful when a child needs both the language and a school without commuting across town.
