A driver with his own car, taken for a whole day by a group: he moves you between stops and waits while you walk around. The arithmetic differs from ride-hailing: with many stops and an hour between them the meter runs up faster than a day with a driver costs. Contact and arrangements go through Zalo.
Cần biết trước. Prices as quoted in an expat chat: 15 thousand ₫ per kilometre in town and 10 thousand per kilometre outside it. We have not checked them ourselves or confirmed them with the driver — ask him directly and agree the figure before you set off. Message him on Zalo.
Cẩn thận. We took the price from a chat rather than from the driver, and it may differ — that is why it carries the “ask” label. Agree in advance both on the figure and on what it covers: waiting between stops, the drive back, fuel, the driver’s lunch.
For a day out of town count the kilometres both ways: the waterfalls and farms around Da Lat take as long to come back from as to reach, and you pay for the whole run.
