The Russian consulate general in Da Nang
The nearest Russian consulate to the coast — and the one Da Lat residents do not need. Lam Dong is not in its consular district: a passport, a power of attorney or a certificate will not be issued here and you will be sent to Ho Chi Minh City. It only makes sense to come if you are already on the central coast.
Da Lat does not belong here The Da Nang district covers Da Nang itself, Hue and the provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen. Lam Dong is not on the list, so neither is Da Lat: your office is the one in Ho Chi Minh City. The register still describes the district by the province names used before the 2025 administrative reform.

The road from Da Lat
- More than 600 km of mountain road — a full day each way. By bus that is a night plus a day.
- Since 19 August 2026 there are flights from Da Lat to Da Nang, three a week. It still makes no sense: they will turn you away on district grounds.
