Nha Cua Thoi Thanh Xuan — handmade Da Lat essential oils
12 Truong Cong Dinh, Xuan Huong · 07:30–23:30
Lapu Home — Tinh Dầu Đà Lạt - Nhà Của Thời Thanh Xuân
The shop of a Da Lat project called Thời Thanh Xuân, where the essential oils and the soap are made by deaf craftspeople: the name hangs above the shelves and under it the same letters spelled out in fingerspelling. Brick wall, shelves floor to ceiling, dropper bottles, sprays, candles and gift sets in kraft paper — all made by the project from local raw materials. By the counter stands a tray of mortars, test tubes and pipettes: the oils are there to be smelled and blended, not only sold in a box. Beyond the ready-made bottles they run workshops.
Cần biết trước. Open every day from 07:30 to 23:30, which is unusual here — most shops shut by nine. On maps the point is labelled Lapu Home: it is the same house, the awning says «Tinh Dầu Đà Lạt» and the project name hangs inside. The entrance opens straight onto the street, with the folding door open in warm weather. The phone number opens under the «Get contact» button. We did not record prices, and the workshops are worth arranging in advance: neither a schedule nor a price is posted.
Cẩn thận. The people behind the counter are deaf — that is the whole point of the project. It is easier to communicate in writing or through a translator app: composition and dosage do not survive gestures, and not everything on the shelves carries a price tag.
